Fonts
for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean
For users of Windows, you can download fonts for
Chinese, Japanese, and Korean from Microsoft. These fonts work in any
Windows application
and allow you to read e-mail, Web pages, and other documents written in these languages. To input these languages into an
application, you need an IME for each language. The fonts and IME work on any version of Windows 95 and 98. These are also available from
the Microsoft site. You may also download the necessary fonts by opening the Chinese and Korean pages. A message will ask whether you want to download the fonts from Microsoft. For persons outside of Japan, you may download Japanese fonts by
opening any of the pages in this site.
Information for Mac users will be available soon.
